The Supermoon on November 14, 2016, will be the closest a Full Moon has been to Earth since January 26, 1948. The next time a Full Moon is even closer to Earth will be on November 25, 2034.

I lookt up tonight and the supermoon was fading away, a non-round shell of its glory from a couple days ago, late rising and sluggish and so not super any more. I miss you supermoon.

Wow, beautiful. We had the ultimate weather around central indiana during those three days for viewing the moon. By the time it was above our trees it's wasn't so "super" but it was a brilliantly glowing white. More than the norm.
