Message:Well, wouldn't you know. Of course the first post has to be manual, so I can get Denny's thread code (or go to a lot of bother figuring out what it would be and fget that), and Danged if I didn't misspell the thread title! Ignore this one, I'm reposting!

Message:Yes, I see you left out the "s" in "Suns". Well, Denny's Phoenix Suns did lose yet again tonight, making their streak (of losses) now 6.
(And they are now "ranked" 14th in the Western Conference, not 12th, as your thread title seems to imply. Not sure where that 6-game losing streak ranks, tho.) And I'm sure all the numerical gibberish in that table has some statistical meaning, with all the fancy metrics they've come up with these days. But over my head!
Funny time to be concentrating on the NBA with March Madness going on, but to each his own, I guess.....

Message:*smile* As you can see, TN, you and I have exactly the opposite view on the necessity and desirability of reusing old threads. But it's all good!

Message:Well, I don't know if you jinxed the Suns, or what, but Devin Booker became only the 6th man in NBA history tonight to score 70+ points in a game as he went for just that in losing to the Celtics 130-120, to run the Suns' streak to 7.
And yes, I know this should be in that sports oddities thread, and I'll probably put it there, too.

Message:One year later.......................some details and color on Booker's performance.
[And sorry joey. Since I never also posted this on the sports oddities thread, it has to go here in the "Suns" thread. Hopefully this will filter down the list quickly. I kept changing my mind about posting it at all, but (obviously) decided it has enough merit to be read about. It's pretty interesting.]
(And unfortunately, Denny's woeful Suns are dead last as of now in the Western Conference.)
