Message:I just played game 7680 (8x4) at diff 7 and got creamed. So I looked up the game stats and found this???
7680 diff 5 solve pct 99%
7680 diff 7 solve pct 8.3
7680 diff 10 solve pct 99%
I have no idea what this means?? I thought 7680 would be the same deal for any 8x4 diff level.
Am I missing something here

Message:Well, the games are different games at different difficulty settings, not the same as you were thinking.
Now, an example of the same game is the same difficulty at different column numbers, i.e. 8x3-7 10334 is the exact same layout as 8x2-7 10334, it just has one greater freecells to play with. Maybe that's what you were thinking?
The same game number at a different difficulty is "derived" from the base random deal of difficulty 10, by Denny's heuristic algorithm that moves cards around to make it 'more likely' that a game will be easier at a lower difficulty, but as it says on the about page (somewhere, I forget just where), that heuristic is no guarantee. It's certainly possible for such tweaking to actually produce a harder deal.
