Too funny- of course I had to look up what a palimscope was, and then what a palimpsest was. Of course as owner of the most boring name in existence I can't throw too many stones.

Paradoxically, the more boring a nic is, the less boring. It's the same problem as one has with sig lines in email. You choose the nic to make a statement. Thus you wind up making the damned statement thousands of times a day, day after day, week after week, und so weiter. Or you choose some pithy or heartfelt statement, that everybody sees every damned time they get an email from you. What level of pithiness or heartfeelidry could survive it? Anyways, yes Rocky I feel you hard but the ship of stupidity has sailed. Nothin to be done.
