Message:And welcome to you!
But I have a question.
This is the game you were stuck on and refused to give up for many months, right?
Game: 7x5 19206-10
Plays: 2
Wins: 0
Percentage: 0.00
I'm thinking that because it was the first game you played according to the recent games listing and it was a loss. I know you said before you didn't want to give up on your 7x5 streak. So I assume this was the one.
But what shocks me is how long you spent on the game. 1:31. How can that be? Did you never really look at it? I mean...I know you play fast, but you were sitting on it for a long time. Or do you take a screenshot of the board?
In any case, welcome back. It's about time!

Message:Yes, I took a screenshot of it in a hopeless position. Thought for a long time (on and off) looking at it and couldn't see anything.
Today I just gave up without making any move.

Message:So, then, you must have taken the screen shot pretty quickly when you first saw the game. Do you do that, as a rule? Or only when you can tell it's going to take some thought?
And...I guess...why do it at all? Doesn't seem to accomplish much, other than make the time recorded a poor measure.

Message:I take a look for a while and most of the times I can see something in the first 10 to 20 seconds.
If it takes more than one minute without doing any move I sometimes take screenshots. The clock ticking away with me not doing anything makes me feel uncomfortable.
Yes average time is a factor in the back of my mind.

Message:That's interesting. I guess I don't take it that seriously. Plus I don't know how to take a screenshot

Message:So, HopDiriDiriDattiriDittiriDom, what is your process after taking a screenshot?

Message:TNmountainman,
Still I look at the screen, but with no clock ticking I see things in a better way (I see better moves).
