Message:since the change to https, i've noticed that virtually every page i go to is initially an http one that redirects to an https one. my question is, since the http one is still being dealt to me, and a back arrow takes me to it, isn't the non secure information for everything still being sent? would this not defeat the whole point? these are the pages i get in order for the discussion board but i can always access the http versions for all the pages on the site.

Message:individual messages for the discussion board seem to go straight to https but the board itself starts with http, so i guess its not *every* page.

Message:Interesting. I had noticed that the DB subjects initally show as "unread", and then quickly switch to "read" (for the ones that have been read).

Message:Well, ix, I think this may 'solve' my pointing out to Denny a few weeks ago that after 'the change' to https, that on my 'smart'phone, when I hit the back button, it doesn't seem to "take". I have to hit it at least twice, and normally thrice, to go back a page. Since said phone doesn't normally display the "https" (or "http") in the address bar, I had no idea that this could be what's going on. He said "nothing else has changed on my end" (perhaps paraphrasing slightly).
