Because it has been more than a year since the last time I did this, I have decided to post a Table like Joey's, but based on all-time best streaks (as of 4 October 2018).

I had to lookup a lot of streaks and enter them manually (because lots of streaks don't make the all-time list, especially for 8x4), so there are almost certainly a few errors!

I got results for 265 players! I am including the top 97 players with scores > 500,000 (last time it was 74 players).

At the bottom of the table is the sum of the streaks for each variant (and the average), which is a rough measure of each variant's difficulty and/or popularity.

The "score" is the product of the 9 individual scores, which are "log(base 2) of the streak length + 2" (just like Joey's).

Great job, Tony! I might take on the project of adapting my code to do this. I do have some code laying around somewhere that can generate a score for anyone based on their individual stat page, rather than from the current or all-time lists. The problem is, how to generate the list of all names to run through this code.

Hey Joey, thanks! What a good idea! For starters, you could use my list of 97 above. A lot (maybe half?) of the nics in that list have been idle for > 2 years (some for > 10 years). I kept them in because, 1) they earned it, 2) some of them will be known to current players, and 3) just because the nic has been idle doesn't mean that the player is idle. But, for a "routine" listing, you might want to leave out a lot of the out-of-date nics, imo. Alternatively, you could use all of the names that appear in any of the current streak lists for the 12-sum games (except 8x4 and 6x6). Infact, I've just done it, and I got 84 nics.
