The slurpee was or maybe still is the signature product of the 7-11 convenience store chain. A 7x4 adds up to 11, so 7x4 ~ 7-11 -> Slurpee. Sorta.

I don't think I was really aware there were 7-11s all over the country, even out in Bellevue which is where you were at the time, but I guess they are!
