Haha, thanks. I'm always looking for new ways to challenge myself. But in all seriousness... Good show, Arheus. I'm sure you'll get one of these soon enough. Congrats to Anons.

Arheus, it was certainly a close one, a bit too close! You got the 31st win before me too. Nice going in getting all 32, MabdulD. Thanks for the congrats. Micky.

Well it seems everybody knew Anons was micky except for me :P Guess that losing to micky makes me feel a lil'better (still, 32 secs... .sob) Bottom line - you still da' queen, micky! But some day... (yeah, some day I hope I win a masters :P who doesn't?) Thanks for the congrats everybody, same to you.

Arheus, you are one of very few who can win the Masters over Mickey....on a bad day. Good luck! Also did I misunderstand or what, is MabdulD Micky??? Maybe I dreamed that. KMc

Thank you very much hotnurse :) And no, as far as I know MabdulD is not micky but it all started as a joke on ogdulbytoki's topic.

I'm pretty sure Mickyiw is MabdulD, or did her sarcasm fool me? I think she says she plays with her left hand under that name. I could be wrong...which is usually the case....

Calico, I'm thinkin' the same thing, but, how in the world did she play both nicks and place 1st (as Anons) and 3rd (as Mabd) ??? Two computers at the same time?? Two windows open?? Whatever she did it was also probably while helping her kids with homework, watching tv and sipping some vodka. Maybe Mickiw could help us out here. KMc

"Whatever she did it was also probably while helping her kids with homework, watching tv and sipping some vodka." - and everything while talking on the phone and doing her nails. No, really, I mean micky is a freecell goddess, but that doesn't mean she's not human - a.k.a. two hands, two eyes and one brain.

Uhhhh, I'm pretty sure she's human, but she's got superwoman reflexes. I've actually watched tournaments from the sideline that she was playing in. And sometimes she will be like 3 or 4 games back, and makes up some crazy times and ends up first by a mile. I would love to see a video on youtube or something of her playing. That would probably help my game a little....I wish. I've got two computers, but I'm pretty damn sure I'd come in 20th and 21st.

Can't disagree with you on that calico, she's got great reflexes and thinking speed. But doing two nicks at the same time let's say on two different computers each with one hand would still require two brains. I dunno. SO - micky, how about a video of you playing ? (calico, let's start gathering signatures :D)

When MabdulD and micky claimed to be the same person in that other thread, they were just foolin', not serious. The resulting confusion, though, along with Arheus's statement that it seemed everyone but him knew who ANONS was, are both good examples of how multiple identities are rarely as obvious or generally remembered as their authors think. Publicly listing one's alt nicks every once in a while doesn't really reduce the confusion much, because new arrivals, bad memories, and fake claims combine to keep the whole identity picture fuzzy at all times.

Yeah, sorry about the confusion...although I guess that was kind of the point. I am nobody's alternate nickname. I wouldn't put it past micky to play two nicks at once, one with each hand, and still do well, but it didn't happen yesterday.

My life was so much easier when I was streaking.... Tournament players are a funny bunch, all the alt nicks make for some pretty interesting play, that's for sure.

Calico, tournie players and their nicks are a lot of fun to run with. You are lucky that you can go both ways, so to speak. I have no problem with the alt-nick players, just a little confusing to figure out who you are really up against. ;) KMc

Right on, hotnurse. Personal identity is way more complicated than an alt-nick. For that matter, it's way more complicated than a primary nick. JeffMo

oops, sorry for any confusion. MabdulD and myself are two very different people, but I am ANONS. I guess I thought people would remember ANONS as last time they played I got very much slated in discussion for multiple nicks. Bad, bad Micky. What can I say, I'm an evil person. Arheus, no plans for a video, though I am going to be across the pond next month, so who knows.

Kudos to long-timer Beowulf for chasing everyone down and winning the 15-July-2018 Masters. There was definitely a rotating list of players in the lead over the last 45 minutes. I was chasing the 7x2 for my 31st win and almost had it before the bell but then lost track of my opening sequence and could never get it back until well after the final whistle. Might have been for naught as Beowulf tracked down the 6x4 and got to 31 wins that way. So, at least 32 winnable games but only one player making it to 31.

Hey oh handsome one, two weeks in-a-row. Very nice. Not that I enjoyed the way this one came down. I thought either the 7x4 or the 7x2 might be winnable but the solutions were lost to me. Seems like my modus operandi has changed from snatching victory at the end to leading and then getting caught.

Haha, I think I tried every other game before finally focusing on that 7×2. As I recall the trick was to stop reflexively putting up hearts and go after diamonds instead.

Nice win today calicokid. When I saw the '2' in the win column after solving the 7x3 I figured either you or WRAC had pipped me to the solution. Definitely an interesting route to the solution on that one.

Yes, another example of what a fascinating variant 7x3 can be (4121-10). In this case, you had to both exercise restraint (by not clearing the easily-cleared column right away) and abandon caution (by piling one suit up very high before doing much else). At least, that's how I solved it. Congratulations to both of you on getting it so quickly. Even after finding the correct path, it took me 4 or 5 attempts to get the details right. To do this so fast and under tournament pressure is very impressive. :-) I see someone else solved it after the bell (now 4/128).
