14006-5 Now 2/20. Took me two tries. Probably wouldn't have given it a second try unless I had seen someone else had already beaten it.

Very nice. A 17 move opening. From then on cut and dried. Now 6/26, so there are some others who have won.

Fun game TN, got it first try, not super tough, but care must be taken. I posted 31588-5 last week when I finally solved it after 4 tries at 3/23, now 3/41, so others have found it to be very tough. A few days ago I came across one I think is even tougher. 16866-5, frustrated the crap out of me. After the first try thought it was surely unwinnable. Wrong! 1/22, no way, can't be. Now 2/43, finally busted it on attempt #21. What a bitch! Or maybe it's just me, give it a try and see what you think.

I'll try to look into that later. I've actually found several lately that I was the first one to win, but that doesn't necessarily make them "interesting". I had one today, in fact, that my win made it 1/14, I think, but it was just plain HARD. I only post ones that seem (to me) quirky and/or fun to play. If I don't comment on 16866 within a couple of days, feel free to remind me by bumping this.....

Another 'cute' one: 17588-5. First try; now 2/10. Maybe not exceedingly difficult, but a bit of fun.

.......which was *immediately* followed by 18851-5, which took me about 4-5 tries. Now 2/27. During the first go-'round, I suspected it was solvable, but knew it would be hard. Didn't know how hard until I saw the stats. I urge those of you who like challenges to dig into this one. Really delicious, this one, I think...

Dang - what is it with the deals I'm getting today? Just now was dealt 28100-5. Seemed moderately simple, and I'm shocked to see it's now 1/17!

OK - this is a 12x0 that ended up unsolved in today's Wide Open but I kept going and it is now 1-20. Anyone good enough to solve it in one try? 12x0 15271-9

Okay...it's 2 for 22 now. But how can it be shown that I'm only responsible for one of those games? Seems it will have to be a faith issue. James

Go to scores and you can see one (successful) attempt under your name in just under 25 minutes. Kudos

Oh yeah, I could just click on a user and see what they did...is that what you mean? Or is there another way using "scores" which I only know for seeing streaks and such? J

now 5/45. Not super easy but not too bad. Looked at your stats TN, very shocked to see you had 17 losses on that one

LOL. Yeah, after I lose a game, I rarely play it again, but sometimes I do if I'm for some reason curious (which I was on this one). I don't remember *ever* playing one that many times (although I probably have). And when I play one like that after a loss, I'm not very careful - only searching for the key (since additional losses don't count). So I think a lot of those losses were probably only a minute or so. That being said........it must also have just been one of those cases where something that's not so difficult to some seems somehow impervious to my finagling. I do think it's still a very hard game, and at least the way I solved it was quite interesting. Now I'm interested to know if others also think it's hard -- or not....

Kinda hard but definitely fun. 3rd try but I'm throwing out the first one because I thought I had a free cell when I did not. Not the usual opening set of moves.

27821-5. Now 1/30, and I'm not the "1", altho I was pretty close. Gave it two tries. It's indeed "fun". One of those where you've just got to put together the sequences in the right order.

Tricky but taking it slow, first time was the charm. It's not the sequence but not overloading the pivot points until you're sure it's time to stack. It put up a fight but went down meekly.

While not an 11, it is still satisfying. There's a lot of pivots in this and the one hint I can give is think 3D. Game: 12x0 32296-8 Game stats: 1/1/100%/1417 Elapsed: 13:45

That's a good time you got there, roo. These ones are good to learn the skills needed for 11's. I prefer this level because there's plenty of tough enough but still winnable. I'll be needing every trick learned if I'm to give you competition in zeros. I'm still regrouping.
