Again.........not a joke........
Last night on The Deuce, something called "Carjujitsu" (or was it "Carjitsu"?). Two guys literally do jujitsu on each other in a car. Semi-props(?) to somebody for even thinking of it (🤔?)..........but has ESPN decided to go down the road of self-parody - just as sort of a why-bother-at-this-point? act of self-immolation? Inquiring minds want to know.
Really close race in the 800m women’s swimming final at the World Championships in Singapore. We have the best swimmer in history (Katie Ledecky of the US) going against two younger stellar competitors (Summer McIntosh from Canada and Lani Pallister from Australia).
Well worth a watch if you can find a video replay. Of course, if you find a US video replay, they won’t admit Ledecky is the best swimmer ever because Michael Phelps has the consensus view among most swimming commentators because they don’t realize how absurd it is to get medals doing anything in athletics using a technique that is not the best.
Speaking of 800m..............(but not wimmens).........
Irish swimmer Daniel Wiffen dives into the water for an 800-meter freestyle race at the World Aquatics Championships on Tuesday, July 29.
