Here's the latest code I have developed. Still in beta but seems to work. Query field can be edited as you like. You need to enter your query as space separated fields. I have provided some preset queries. At least you can try them. Then you can try to edit and play with it.

Thanks Hop, looking forward to further updates. I see the list of themes is complete but only those on the other tournament pages are supported, and running a query on others gives nothing. I suggest writing that somewhere on the page itself. Also a brief explanation of the JSON language for newbies like me would be most welcome (though I can get most of it by guessing or trial and error).

Hey Hop, this is pretty impressive. It wasn't clear to me at first that I could take this query: $1.player WRAC equal-to $2.player Kaos equal-to and and flip it around to this: $1.player Kaos equal-to $2.player WRAC equal-to and and then I tried a few variations on this: $1.player Kaos equal-to $2.player WRAC equal-to $3.player mabb equal-to and but that didn't work. One thread that was popular many moons ago was the double-my-time club. Essentially where the winners time was less than half the time of the runner-up. That would make any interesting preset. You'd probably want to include something like number of games won is at least half of the total games to eliminate events where there were not that many entrants. Is there something that does all of the tournaments?

Hey Kaos, There are three conditions so there must be two 'and's. Try this: $1.player Kaos equal-to $2.player WRAC equal-to $3.player mabb equal-to and and "Essentially where the winners time was less than half the time of the runner-up. That would make any interesting preset." I guess this would work (without testing): $1.elapsed 2 * $2.elapsed less-than

Oded, JSON is not a language. I put an 'i' (info) icon (next to the preset button). Did you click it? For your other point, yes I can do something like that.

This is interesting for quartets (a 40 minute theme): $1.elapsed 39:58 more-than

Hop, I think there's a minor bug regarding last place finisher. For example: " $4.gamesWons 10 more-than " for Lightning tourneys works just fine, but omits cases where there were exactly 4 players competing, for example: https://www.freecell.net/f/c/tourgames.html?num=308097 Regardless, how do you combine such a query with a time period (start date and/or end date)?

Oded, it has been fixed start-date is the tournament's start date and time. But it has to be in YYYY-MM-DD format. If not your query would fail. So to fetch those won by WRAC after a specific date: WRAC wins start-date 2015-01-01 not-less-than and or for those before: WRAC wins start-date 2015-01-01 less-than and or for those between two dates: WRAC wins start-date 2015-01-01 not-less-than and start-date 2020-01-01 less-than and You may need to refresh (shift-F5).

Hop, is there a way to search for most consecutive wins (in a single day, or alternatively in a certain theme over a period), or for most different winners in one day?

Unfortunately not. This is a theme based search and only maybe "most consecutive wins in a certain theme over a period" bit would make sense but it is not either possible without a change. Except for majors I don't think it is more than 10 in any theme because start time for the most of themes rotates. And as for the majors; mickyiw in Masters and Spud in BO must be the ones.

It can be interpreted as both tournaments of that theme held (then the starting hours are a problem) or those played by someone, then we have 36 quickies by Micky (and maybe more), and 50-60 Freakout by yourself (I'll check later), other than the majors you've noted. Single days stats are also not feasible, if I understand correctly? Like most wins for kenwa in a given day?

As has been stated before mickyiw won 11 consecutive Masters, from 16 March 2008 to 25 May 2008 inclusive. Next week there was a server fire. Then CubicSprock won it.

My data is based on themes. So there is no way for daily consecutive wins. It requires coding something new for that purpose. But is it worth it? More or less we know that it would turn out to be kenwa anyway. Wasn't there a thread for it last year? I played 5 consecutive Freakouts in a week at most. So 5 wins is the most one for me.

Since yesterday's Spelunker had three players to 16 wins, I thought I'd try to see how often that happened. So, after a number of errors, I think I'm starting to get the hang of Hop's query language and had success with this query: $3.gamesWons 16 equal-to Got about three pages of hits. There were two occasions where seven players made it to sixteen wins. One thing that was interesting about yesterday's Spelunker is that the three players who got to 16 wins all did it in 30-40 minutes although you'd need to look at the start times to see it as I started a few minutes late and racingyou started around 30 minutes late (just before calicokid got to 16 wins)

Kaos, you could create a link to that query (there should be an icon next to the "i" icon, if not; you need to refresh with shift-F5). Then you can copy and paste that link as below.

Link: All Spelunker games won by at least three people

It would have been four on 16 but I still can't win that darn 5x6.
