If u ever read a thing about them u would know they are tough & pugnacious. That behavior is normally what they do.

Also I'd love to know where u lived that hosts four hummie species 

I had a full bed of flowers in the same spot. Viewing was still great and none of the flexing. 

Wish there was a "nature shot" but its just happening now...Chicago area getting ripped by hurricane-force storms rolling in from the north. Entire area getting hit. 

Weather Channel (or as I call it.......the-channel-formerly-known-as-the-Weather-Channel) is having some good footage on.

I rarely photograph man-made structures, but when I saw the lighthouse on Key Biscayne it’s exotic presence inspired me to take a picture. 

Several years later Hurricane Andrew crossed over the island leaving destruction all over the island. The lighthouse, and the land surrounding it, no longer look the same.

Clyde, 83 and a national treasure, fell and broke a hip last week. Had surgery and is now in rehab. Good thoughts to Clyde & family.

I saw the smallest wild bunny rabbit out eating weedy stuff in the back yard...I'll try to get a picture (I never take pictures otherwise...

I had a cat back in the day "Butch" who would have loved to eat and play with that.

While there's no shot with this post, it's a subject we've mentioned multiple times.

California NEVER has "warm monsoon storms". Ocean and storms are cold.

I saw a dragonfly a few years back that looked like something Triassically titanic...I did like a dumbfounded double take on it...

A friend once gave me a very large dragonfly with at least a six inch wingspan. I've never seen another like it. It was a prized possession for many years. And then it disintegrated.
