Here is a little more info re. 9x1: About 5904 L5 games have never been won (18%), and 2451 (7.5%) more have win rates <=10%. Only about 4343 L6 games have been played. Of those, 1351 (31.1%) have never been won, and 225 (5.2%) have win rates <=10%.

Or to put it another way, it only seems fair that TitanicTony completely retire "me", and begin playing the games they were meant to be played. I won't use the "c" word, but that's what it is when "I" am employed by you, or if my cousin "white board" is employed by RingoStarr or any other players. As others have noted, it's the equivalent of having an unlimited "undo", or the equivalent of being an analog solver. It makes a mockery of the mental challenge of the game, and perverts the competition which is being attempted to be engaged in. Do you not realize that your ego(?), or perhaps just call it outsized "will to win", is ruining it for all the others? Is your success worth that to you? If that is the case, then so be it, but I can't accept that mind-set. I urge you strongly to reconsider your stance on this. Further (and I wasn't going to bring this up), but it's really inaccurate for you to post "Congratulations to TitanicTony on a good win (over stinky_cootified_peach_tree by 1 game)." I was there for that (as you know), and you worked me near to death there at the end trying to milk out those last games on little or no sleep, spending 30 minutes or an hour on each game. A win achieved by using me can't really be considered a "good win", as "I" represent an unfair advantage. I don't want you to give up being scorekeeper, and it is a noble and laudable service, but on the other hand, what is being measured is no longer what was SUPPOSED to be being measured. That is all very funny, I suppose! I'm pretty sure that all readers realize that "you" are not my "deck of cards"!! My deck of cards is right here beside me, and never "plays" alone. I play freecell "for fun" -- all players, imo, are entitled to enjoy the game however they choose! I would not like to give up playing freecell, but I would happily give up playing in the WWC and the SSC!!!!! AND, to never again have to keep the scores!!! Acording to Free@last, it is "easy" to do! Just not for me, as it is primarily a manual operation!

Ok, I am confused. I know that I am not a frequent player in the SSC's but the way I read it, here and on the other thread, is that there are a total of 3 separate tournaments going on; the 10x3, the 11x1 and the 5x6. Is it just me who is corn-fuzzled?

Probably not!! I created the SSC-2 (harder varints) and SSC-3 (easier variants) in an attempt to replace the SSC with its hugely complicated rotation system, and overlap with the WWC -- but that probably isn't going to happen, as the SSC remains the more popular of the 3 competitions! Also, the SSC-2 and SSC-3 were origninally played on Sundays, but are now played on Saturday and/or Sunday! I hope that helps!
