Subject: iPad games lose ability to move cards

When playing (I play tournaments), I'll suddenly lose the ability to move cards to the top row. I've noticed it starts when playing a game with a lot of cells on the top row. (I.e. #30676). I'm still able to move cards within the columns. At first I thought I had a "dead spot" on my screen but It doesn't seem to matter which cell I'm trying to move the card to. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my iPad or the format of the game. Weird thing is I can play games normally, then all of a sudden it goes poof. Has anyone else experienced this?

Never had anything like that. I've been playing netcell exclusively on the iPad for years now. We had a problem with the whole game freezing up back when iOS 7 was first released; that was with Safari and forced me to switch to Chrome. Eventually Denny redid the way mouseclicks were being emulated and I was able to switch back to safari. (And things were ever so speedier, too, thanks again for that Denny!) For me it's worked like a charm ever since.

Thanks for your reply joeygray. It just dawned on me that this didn't start happening until I installed the last iOS update. its very frustrating. When I play a narrow game, like a 4x10, I can never move a card to the far left top cell and often just lose the ability to move any cards up after I've played several games. Trying to stick to games with few cells on top but that's not good when tou play tournaments! LOL

Is an Ipad like a regular computer where you can roll back to a previous point before the update ?

Apple does like to break things. I don't have access to a current iPad. I play on a Kindle without issue.

I play on an iPad too, and have the same frustrating issue. It doesn't matter if I'm on Safari or Chrome either. Yes, it started right after the update to IOS 10.0.2, so a couple of weeks now. As long as I can see all of the A freecell, no issue. If only a fraction is visible, then getting cards into freecells is a crapshoot. Goodbye to the deadly narrow tournament for now.

Ahhhh. Yes, I normally wait a while before taking iOS updates. I am still on plain 10.0, with no problems. How does chrome work?

Btw, now apple is annoying me even more with their updates. Used to be they'd say wanna update, I just said no. Then they changed it and said, wanna update now or later, so I was forced to say later and I'd have t keep saying later every few days. Now? When you say later, they - I am not kidding - assume you mean "later today" and you have to carefully cancel the update they scheduled for you that you don't want.

It's incredibly frustrating for sure! As soon as there are 9 or more cells across the top, I lose part of the 1st one and it starts up. Tonight, if I moved them up and filled the cells in order from right to left, it seemed to be fine. As soon as I pulled one down and there was a gap, no more moving up!! LOL
