I used a typing tutor for a while a few months ago, and then decided it was going too slow in adding new letters and I would just 'wing it'. Tried it again and found that all my 'slow' letters were in the last four added - which makes me think maybe I should go back to it. Thoughts?

Yeah, I know I could type around twice as fast as I do if I sat down to the keyboard every time and made myself use the correct fingers and not watch the fingers at work. The muscle memory would come. But to start out I'd be half the speed I am now, and I've never disciplined myself to sacrifice in the short term for the long term good. Sad, iddnt it.

Try Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing. I was doing great with it a while ago, and it progressed me very well, until I inexplicably quit. Back to hunt-and-peck, but no fault of Mavis Beacon.
