Subject: Premium for life

Message:
I'm going to discontinue Premium shortly and anyone who has it will have it for life. I'll post a MOTF-style notice tonight. The folks who do my fulfillment stuff are moving servers and in the interest of simplifying things I'm going to do away with Premium going forward. Denny

So, does that mean that we will all get banner ads? I'm a little confused.

Maybe instead of "doing away with Premium", you should double the cost, so that it would be more worth your while (and your charities), and you wouldn't feel the need to "simplifying things"!??

Thought I should take advantage of this opportunity after years of freeloading on the site. Went through registration, paid, got a confirmation message but with no reg code - twice. Is that what Denny means by 'discontinue Premium shortly'?

Tried asking for a new confirmation to get the register key and all I receive is my password listed 3 times.

OK, everyone who ordered should have received a key. We will work on a refund for the one person who ordered twice....sorry for the trouble. Everything should work fine now if you order.

Isn't offering something "for life" intrinsically discriminatory towards old people?

What would you suggest - "life plus 10 years"?

The_Inq. my exact thoughts! Which is, inho, opening yourself for liable. Again, Denny, or anyone who will give me an intelligent, appropriate answer...does this eliminate ads for everyone??? Or does it mean that those of us who have Premium, who now have it for life, will be the only ones who *don't* get ads? And, if the aforementioned is correct are we still able to "donate" to a charity in order to keep this site running on three wheels? Four wheels if chat were like it had been in the days of yore. Thanks for the kindness of the one to answer.

This means if you have Premium at month's end, you will have "ads free" for life. Thanks Mike for fixing things. I put up a MOTF just now explaining things. I hope it's clear. Denny

When you submit a payment, watch the screen for the Registration code that shows up with your receipt and save that code. Some people have reported problems receiving the email with the registration code The code needs to be submitted on the registration page:

This is the message I got when I tried to checkout during purchasing Premium. "The owner of www.perusion.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website." Was told that the certificate ended on May 17, 2017. I'm concerned about making an exception for www.perusion.com and sending credit card info. What to do???

Every time I try to register, I just get a complete white page, with this address: http://www.perusion.com/f/cell/process.html

I keep trying to buy Premium and keep getting notice that site certificate has expired. I'm given the chance to add the site http://www.perusion.com/f/cell/process.html as an exception but I'm nervous about doing that. I do want to buy Premium. Any ideas on whether it's safe to do so, by adding the site as an exception? I could pay using PayPal, to avoid putting my actual credit card data out there.

Same problem here. Tried to sign up but anti-virus program went nuts, kept blocking the transaction because of questionable certificate. Wouldn't allow proceeding to the payment page even if I tried to "allow anyway" and get past the block. What to do?
