I play 9/7 Freecell and have for years. I play it to relax and don't care if I have to start over. A while back I posted about this and was told I was wrong. But for years I have seen leftygirl and snoverdavid start over and over on the game always starting with stats at 1game played. How do they do that? To the nurse who told me I was wrong YOU ARE WRONG. Go and check it out Can anyone tell me how they are able to to that. David are you snoverdavid?

The game stats show: 143. snoverdavid ... 1340 ... 1340 ... 0 ... 1340 ... 100.00% ... 0:58 ... 2d 175. leftygirl ............. 1042 ... 1042 ... 0 ... 1042 ... 100.00% ... 2:06 ... 4d I will have to wait for one of them to lose before I am convinced. Lots of players have never lost a 9x7 game! If what you say is true, then I wonder if those "missing games" are also missing from the cumulative game stats? Maybe 9x7 has been played more times than is shown (9x7/10 shows 1,555,032 games played)?? I also wonder how many other players and variants have the same "glitch", if there really is a glitch??

Thanks titanic I can always count on a sensible answer from you. Please check it again later. I have been seeing this for years but no one ever answered with anything but sarcasm. I have lost in 9x7 many times as you can tell. LOL

I'm curious if you are just looking at current streaks. If someone doesn't play for 2 weeks in a variant the current streak disappears, but then when they play again they resume the streak where it was left off. So just because they aren't on the current streak list doesn't mean the streak is 0.

No CubicSprock Leftygirl is the one I have been seeing forever. Sometimes she gets pretty high up then she will start over again. 0...0...0...0...100%. When I lose a game, which is because I'm not paying attention to my plays and the top tray gets full, my total games column and average time stay the same. I wouldn't have posted about it if it had been something like you described. Umpteen years ago when I was a software engineer (when the internet was first invented by Al Gore) hahaha I just became interested in "what happens if you do that" so I notice things like that and have been curious about it. So I just decided this was something to put on my bucket list. I actually worked for Xerox when windows and the internet were first being tested. When I began we were doing internet testing with a 300 bawd modem. So the the newest tech speak is way over my skill level.

back in March 2013 leftygirl had a streak of 335 in 9x7 with an average time of 2:16. That's the only data point I have saved from historical rankings. If you have more that actually show an all time streak or number of games that have decreased I'd be more inclined to believe there is an actual error.

If one were inclined, one could research archive.org and look for evidence supporting this assertion. For example, the link below shows that snoverdavid had a current streak of 1155 on Feb 7, 2015. If you could find a date where his streak was above 1340, that would indicate there was a problem. http://web.archive.org/web/20150316111744/http://www.freecell.net/f/c/view_scores.html?;TopStreaks,9x7,0,100,0 Here's a general link for checking all the archived dates:

Hmm. I see my example link got truncated. I guess it exceeded the allowable word length. But no matter: you can check for yourself at the general link.

Never mind, I think I got it -- you have to select the year on the first screen.

Hey WRAC I am so lost, felt like I was in a maze trying to navigate the site you recommended. Can you be more explicit about how I can find the data we are looking for.

Hey WRAC, I went back and looked at some of my "current" scores from different days, in different months, for 12X1 in 2013 & 2014 and found several with the SAME stats. That doesn't look right to me.
