I am baffled by when the 15 day cut off happens. Above is an example - you got a score for me in 4x7 but not in 5x6 or 6x5 even though I last played all three of them on July 9th, which would have been 14 days to yesterday, July 23rd. Is it a time zone thing? I am East coast USA. Does anyone have an answer?

I did put in code at the end of last year to zero out someone's score if they didn't play a streak game yet Denny's system still lists them on the current score page. This can happen because Denny (erroneously) resets the time last played on a variant on replays, tournament plays, and custom plays - clearly that field should be updated if and only if the games played field is updated. But maybe that code isn't working right? I'll check on it... Other than that, I just go by the current score page for the variant. And I have never deduced what the exact timing of that rendering is.

Anyways, if you think that tournament/replay/custom is responsible for this, then note that Denny's bug forces me in those cases to shift from his time stamp to mine, and I only record mine when I run, every 3.5 days (or less often, as you've all seen me miss a cycle now and then due to my old computer crashing or power failures (and sorry about that)). You would generally wind up with an extra undeserved 'appearance' because of that. I figured it was better to err on the side of letting it stand longer than deserved rather than to possibly chop out a deserving score.

Hey, joey……….have you changed the criteria from playing in at least 2 variants, to maybe 4? I just went back and re-read your initial (knowing that this isn't the original thread) methodology from the beginning of this thread, and it seems to read only 2 are necessary. Yet I see no listings for anyone with less than 4 variants with active streaks. No big deal, as I'm really just doodling a bit, and I haven't "done the math", but I've got scores in 3 of them right now. Just wonderin'...…...

Yes, it's been 4 since the beginning of automation . The code is floor(nr_variants/2), 4 for both variant sets I do. The code works for any variant set BTW. I toyed with "ten most popular" and "t and f" (threat and freakout) at one time. It doesn't work for winnable variants but I could easily fix that I suppose.

That's what I read, and thus was going by -- but I also somehow thought that wasn't right. Again, it's *truly* not important, but I'm wondering how I'm mis-reading that. So it's really more of a mental exercise/grammatical question. Thanks ever so much.
