It's a temporary thing. Denny said he's going to discontinue it in a week or so. For the time being when it happens say hello to whoever might be in there!

Denny, as a suggestion...…...maybe 'ease' players into the chat experience, instead of just thrusting them in there. It's sort of like "sink or swim" for them now. What I would suggest is maybe a short explanation of what just happened to them, and how it works, and so forth. Maybe encourage them to dip their toes into the water. I'm sure it's likely you've thought of this and rejected the idea, though.
