Denny, I’m getting a weird message when I use my bookmark to come here saying that Freecell.net is no longer a secure site and that its ‘certificate’ expired one day ago. Is this anything to be worried about?

Same thing while I was in the middle of a game! I tried "continue anyway" a few times, but to no avail. I will miss Freecell.

Check your bookmark. You may still have http instead of https in there. Denny changed his stuff to https a few months ago but is probably still forwarding http hits and I wouldn't be surprised if the newest browsers see that forwarding as potentially malicious.

I couldn't play on the Chrome and Firefox browsers. The Opera browser let me play after I told it I'd take the risk. Something having to do with the security certificate must have kicked in after midnight. I had no problem before that.

I got the same message from Safari, v11.1.2 this morning, August 16 at roughly 8:40 a.m. that the certificate had expired, one day ago.
