Watching the end of the PIzt/JAX game. Exciting stuff! Penalty against JAX with 15sec left was a lifesaver for PIT... Not over yet!
And now the TD! Reviewing now....
CONFIRMED!!

Message:(But absent the penalty, it would likely have been a TD completion. It makes it hard to catch a pass when you are thrown to the ground via your facemask.)
I have to admit I turned it off in exasperation when I saw the apparent interception in the end zone. Didn't even look for a flag. I only tuned back in when I saw PIT 20-16 on the NFL scores on the computer..

Message:Never discount your team when the score is so tight! You never know! It's been a while since I've seen such an exciting ending to a game.

Message:Of all the crazy endings to NFL games thru the years.............that just-ended Bears/Eagles game has to rank right up there. Heartbreak............thy name is Chicago. "Game of inches"? That was true again and again - until at the very end it was a game of 1-2 mm.
Truly unbelievable.

Message:And so, Snowy, we join you on the sidelines, and maybe both looking up at the Browns next year. Ugh.

Message:I realize you all are entitled, being home-town fans, but how about some egalitarianism? Who's (for the time being) reigning champs? And how many Super Bowls have Snowy's team won? And tell me again the last time Cleveland won one? Let's spread the wealth a bit.
(Just messin' with y'all a little. With Cleveland's track record and consistent negative mojo, they'll probably go 3-13 next year.)

Message:The Browns will compete for the AFC North title for the next several years, and maybe longer. And, they will often win. Talent overcomes negative mojo.
I would like to see the Browns in the big game.

Message:(Reprising my comment on the "Recent Sports Oddities" thread)..................this past weekend, the home team won all four (and poptart picked all four). Only the second time this decade that's happened at this stage.
