Can you play #29865 8x2 7 and tell what climate it should be in?

Gave it one decent try, and too rich for my blood up front - altho it certainly has lots of play. Lots of decisions to make. LOL. Truthfully I don't play enough 8x2 (and definitely not 7s) to be a good judge. I wouldn't say, with my extremely limited experience at that particular flavor, that it's incorrectly rated - or t'other way 'round, either. I think your opinion would carry vastly more weight. Unless andaronjim "weighs" in, of course. Not sure why you wanted my opinion in particular. And are you located in CA? I thought UK?

Doesn't that ELO indicate the game has never been played in streak mode?
8x3 29865 has a 36% win rate.
I saw the solution on my second try and got it on my third. Replays don't change the marker.
I absolutely don't "channel" andaronjim - just point out (repeatedly) that he was the only one around here who seemed to be able to 'get things done' in terms of getting ratings changed.
And since I normally don't pay attention to elo's, I didn't even notice that it was only 399. So now I see a bit more of Mastermind's point of view. (Actually, looking now at my "Recent Play" stats, it shows it at only 273 - so I guess the ghost of andaronjim is somehow having *some* effect. LOL) And yes, more of an ElGuapo question. I'm sure he and andaronjim communicate regularly to "straighten things out".....😉🤣
And rbw--3, note that the game in question is an 8x2, not 8x3. But I think you know that, and your point being it's a hard game. Yes, I can confirm. Altho as a minor caveat.....I was playing in the neighborhood of 6 AM, and was going on fumes...😴

Yup, I was trying to get a relative idea looking at the 8x3. The 8x2 is most likely tournament since there are less than 40 players reaching level 7 in streak mode for 8x2.
From my understanding the current ELO is irrelevant and just indicates the game has not been played in a streak.

Looks like Mastermind's longest 8x2 streak is 16, so it would not have been in 'regular' (what most of you call "streak") play. But it also does not show up as "Tournament" in his recent play stats. So.............I wonder if he didn't just search it out and try to see if it was one of those that fell through the cracks back at the beginning.
I am aware, and remember, xeena's womansplanation (and it was a valid one), but I also think Denny himself had used it earlier. Not gonna try and find it at the moment, tho. And that's just from memory, so could be inaccurate. (You're good at tracking that stuff down, too.)
But really............I'm *shocked* - *shocked* I tell you - to see you discredit andaronjim's rantings. His comic relief has never been surpassed on this board (not counting the almost unimaginably rich goings-on in chat, of course).
That's right, rbw. Like most games available on this site, that one is unrated and probably always will be. At least until I can convince MrFixit we need a Ladders variant of streak play.

Pardon me/you..........but I did look at the link. And Andy did not get "run off"; he ran away because he "couldn't get no satisfaction". He ran off in a huff - a big huff - which only made it better.
