Punster is correct. I have never known how Denny's various lists sort ties, so, when I remember, I sort them alphabetically (which rarely favors me, lol). If, for some reason, it would be better not to sort, it would save be nearly a minute each time not to do it -- that is over an hour a year!

I always thought that it made it slightly easier to find yourself in a list - it is what I have always done in my work, before I was retired. In some of my lists (eg. prolific streaker) there can be more than 20 players with the same score. Also for past daily results, not to mention the tie for 3rd in 4x4 best streak.

Here are the results from the WWC for Wednesday, 24 June 2015, in W13x0. Congratulations to TNmountainmanMUDstains on an excellent win (over wildcard by 36 games) -- it was 2x tied 58th on the all-time daily list. There were 78 participants, and 12 of the top 25 scores were by players not on the leaderboard (1205 points, 34.9%)! A streak of 20, or more, was needed to score points, and several of our regulars didn't quite make it.
Next Wednesday, 1 July 2015, the WWC will play W12x1 ("easiest" difficulty, new weight 0.8).

The WWC Board of Directors has met and decided to re-instate "TitanicTonys_deckofcards" as a valid player. Crucial testimony was given by "TitanicTony", who said that 1) he is willing to be "flattered", rather than "offended", and 2) persistance should be rewarded.

Sorry Tony, you misspoke. I, for one, did MUCH better on the 28th finishing tied 8th. Last night tied 17th and dropped in the overall scores. I wish you hadn't replayed, was not aware that you could just decide to change the schedule because not many players showed up to play. So now do we just play our hearts out each time and HOPE that the standings stick? or is this what you meant by playing multiple nicks so the scoring would even out? I am a bit confused and sorely discouraged.

It was Punster's idea, imo, due to the Freecell Site "restore" the previous Wednesday! I thought that the reminder made it pretty clear! Re-plays are admittedly very rare. Our Freecell Site is very well maintained and rarely has significant "crashes", or "glitches", imo!!

Tony, for the record, I didn't want a replay, at the time that I posted the remarks about the 5X8 results being wiped out, I didn't know that you had noted the scores an hour before the wipe out, I would have been fine for the results you had. I only lost out on a win at the end that didn't happen because of the timing on the restore. Note: I don't really like playing the 5X8 or the 4X10 anyway. Besides, like you said, it cost YOU more work & you do a lot of extra work as it is.
