On 23 Nov. 2012, free@last posted the "total" SSC schedule as follows:
week 0 = 7x3, 11x2, _9x1, 10x3, _8x2, 9x4, 10x0, 12x1, 6x4, 8x5;
week 1 = 9x3, _7x5, 11x1, 10x2, 12x0;
week 2 = 6x5, 13x0, 10x1, _8x3, 11x0, 9x2, _7x4.
He explained that:
"week 0" games are either very hard (10 sum), or easy (13 sum).
"week 1" games should be medium (12 sum).
"week 2" games should be hard (11 sum).
For DebbyJ (and others) who want to plan ahead, the upcoming schedule should be:
05 Jan 2013: _ 12x1 (should be "easy").
13 Jan 2013: _ 11x1 (should be "hard").
20 Jan 2013: __ 6x5 (should be "medium").
27 Jan 2013: __ 6x4 (should be "very hard").

I'm considering a drive through several time zones to keep up with you and Darkosi. Some days it's not one's level of skill so much as the amount of time one can devote to sitting at the computer. Message:PPS. At least 84 persons played yesterday! It might be a new record. For a change, a streak of one didn't earn any points -- you needed a streak of 20 to tie for 24th place (ho, ho, Darkosi's streak of 13 didn't quite cut it). Even so, he tops my 10-week cumulative SSC ranking!!!

Message:HN, you're welcome (I like you!). I checked, and it seems to me to be not so much "sloppy" as *fast* (6 games in 10 minutes). I guess winning tournaments does that to you... Anyway, when you lose early (your 6th game), you are allowed to try again (and again,... and again). [It took me 6 tries (and most of the day) to get my streak up to 55.]

Having both done well last Wednesday, I'm pretty sure that we will both br ready for tomorrow (except that tomorrow a few "unwinnables" will be thrown into the mix -- so there will be a HUGE "luck of the draw" factor to contend with.

Message:Don't know how huge that factor will be, but it will definitely be a factor for some. Looks like there are only about 370 unwon 11x1 level 10s (~2%). Maybe about 630 unwon level 9s, but a lot of those have only been played once or twice (in fact, most; and same for level 10, but to a lesser extent).
Me and smelly are really not ready to play more of those. smelly might be hard-pressed to devote that kind of time. Might depend on weather...

Message:Tony - see post above that you "bumped" on April 19th (and earlier in March). These say that tomorrow (May 4) is 9x2. Can you clarify? I would hate another round of me playing the wrong game. That euphoric feeling that comes when you are waaay ahead of everyone, only to be dashed when you find out you are playing in the wrong game, is a see saw I can do without. Message:Tony is indeed "out of town". He is, in fact, out of the country (his country anyway). So, to help him out, as he helps ALL of us, I will be more than happy to post the schedules on Fridays and Tuesdays for SSC and WWC til he gets back. (I am likely the player who looks for it the most!!)
I read earlier he plans to be away for about 6 weeks and while he will have some limited internet access and even more limited will be his time, I am glad to take over this little bit for him.
Joey - I won't be posting the results, so that tag on the bottom will still be missing, but if I keep us posted the day prior that point should be moot.
I cannot even begin to figure out how the rankings and points are tallied. Didn't even notice the errors that TN posted about or that Tony left some of my points off from Wednesday, but no matter. I think if we are patient, Tony will still keep up with this for us.
