Uberman, what was the most consecutive unwinnable 8x0 games dealt? I cannot remember what that thread was called. I'm currently on 260 not out!

That should read 255 not out, except that it is now back to zero! Wouldn't you know it, as soon as I asked the question I was dealt a winnable game, which I could not win.

Incidentally, I came very close to winning my first game of this new series (8x0 7609-5) and having a streak of 2, but fell one card short. It was not winnable.

I've just had a look at the thread called 'The biggest streak ever', roo, and somewhat amazingly you said that your longest streak was 255 there also! It was the thread where the text got reduced to about 1mm, so was kinda difficult to read it, but using the power of squint it wasn't impossible. 

So it looks like 255 is the maximum before it resets (lol). Pretty funny that you got a winnable immediately after posting, though!

Thanks Uberman, I now recall that thread for its quirkiness!

If I'd been able to see the easy way to clear a column in that winnable (the first time) I probably would have won it as I would have concentrated more than I tend to do in a replay!
