It's more funny (in this day and time) than anything - even to the point of being amazed such a record got put out there. I suspect most here aren't even aware of this - and that's probably a *good* thing. It's just an iconic representation of the kind of stuff that (rightly) gave a big chunk of country music a bad name. But there's also some kind of "earnestness" which shines through the triteness, as befits Loretta.
