Our old buddy stupa plinth was a Jeopardy question last night. I must say, I had looked up the word "plinth" long ago because of her name, and I knew it because of her.
Lol. I look up every word I don't know. Literally. Pre internet, I had to have a dictionary to go along with whatever I was reading.
I also look up words that I do know. Words have multiple meanings, y'know. Or sometimes, they are not what you thought they were.
The internet is wonderful because you can look up anything - slang phrases, acronyms - anything at all. What in the old days would require a trip to the library, now takes a mere 2 seconds.
A bitch! - finally making it onto Jeopardy as a contestant, but you're up against Jamie Ding 😲
Shamelessly advertising The Devil Wears Prada 2 with a category blitzkrieg while Jamie Ding is still at it.
Some records that are so lofty that they may take decades to break. As incredible as Jamie was, he was still far behind the record streak for days and money.
He will be formidable in the ToC.
This was a hard one to watch tonight. And it feels like Jamie knew from the get go that his run was over. :(
Jeopardy! Now THATS a fun show. Remember the day Ken Jennings (finally) lost. Was to a housewife from somewhere in L.A. She lost the next day. James Holzhauer never shouldve won at all. His first opponent got a "daily double" way up on the board. You bet BIG on those. He didnt.
I like watching the reruns too. It shows me what I learned from the first time, and how much of it "stuck".
What is wrong when three male jeopardy contestants don't know what a spark plug is?
That's insane and stupefying, outskirts. 😳😯 Incomprehensible even. And I just had mine replaced 2 weeks ago, AnonGlom.
My truck needs them. The clue described where they are located, what they do and what they're made of. Practically gave the answer. One guy made a stupid guess. The others were too scared to try.
The category was about engine parts. They were playing that column. One of them knew what an alternator is. I don't understand.
Incomprehensible test results: Confirmed.
