Quoting oneself is curious. Most people call it simply writing or speaking. 

Fishing? Not at all. It's just that among all the threads on this board dealing with quotations, you are the only one who quotes yourself. Many of the posters here say quotable things, but it's just conversation. Quite honestly and with no malice, I cannot understand the need to repeatedly quote oneself.
