A close friend posts an awesome painting every morning, along with a bunch of emojis and a wish for a happy day, and he gives the artist's name.

I happened to have been wearing this Dali shirt the other day and took a picture. I cut the top off for obvious reasons. Lol.
The Eye is something Dali did in '45 for the Hitchcock film Spellbound. Got the shirt at the Dali museum.
That (torso) Dali is what was done to the Black Dahlia.
Her body's pose was intentional on some gruesomely artistic level.
Not only a fake ai voice but also cheesy a$$ ai writing. After 9:54 is a dead giveaway. Learn to recognize the algorithm.

It's about Dali and Hitchcock's collaboration for Spellbound. Not all that heavy on the factual side either.
Sorry the links work sometimes and sometimes they don't.
Not to get off on a tangent, but the scary thing about ai writing is that millions of people fall for it, think it's beautifully written, enough to say so on obvious ai garbage that is basically, stolen.
BTW, the murder obsession is off my radar, as are true crime shows, podcasts, reality shows, talent shows, housewife shows, etc etc etc. in fact I didn't like Mark Harmon for years because he played Bundy, which I did not watch.
Silly......EVERYBODY knows Ed O'Neill played Bundy.
Norman Rockwell ad for a lightbulb company. It didn't get published. 1921
Why not funny? Is there some other "Bundy"? One that I've never heard of because I don't watch sitcoms, movies, murder shows, reality shows, housewife shows, talent shows, podcasts, game shows, etc., etc., etc.?
Just a certain serial killer that everyone has heard plenty about, including u. Or play dumb idc just lmtfa
All u had to do was google Harmon/ Bundy (if u really didn't know and I highly doubt that) but u rather junk up this thread

Brew might want to watch the 2 part miniseries. He seems to like the gruesome.
I've had the misfortune of being close to not one but two serial killers.
Ohhh. *Ted* Bundy. Didn't think of him. Honestly, I didn't. I had NOOO idea they had made a miniseries about him. Nor should you have, as that would've been a "true crime" thing - which you avow you don't watch.
I love Matisse...wish I had that litho on my wall.
I have many framed Dali prints on my dining room walls overlooking the pond. I fancy this one above my table.

Yesterday I found I think the biggest feather I've ever found. It's from a vulture.

Right. Because I'm exactly the same as I was 40 years ago.
Sarcasm.⬆️
And could u be any more disingenuous.
Please don't answer.
Frankly I'm sorry to have scrolled up and read that. Usually when u pull crap like that I just stop reading and literally forget about it.
But hey, e1 can see ur butt.
Not disingenuous. Truly didn't think of him. Maybe I should have, but didn't. Especially since it was of a genre you don't watch - or that's all I had to go on.
And quit saying "subject closed" when it may or may not be. Not your decision to make. Agree that it (mostly) is off-topic - altho some would make the case that a miniseries is art. I imagine that *could* be true, but since I've never seen or heard of this example - not qualified to say.
And as to Ali..........we distinctly remember you referring to "some big fight" in Africa when Bob Marley was doing a giant concert there in South Africa, clearly oblivious to the fact that a MEGA fight was *the* event there at the time: that being Ali vs. Foreman. But you had no idea "your idol" was the "main event", so to speak. ALSO.............one could well make the case that Ali's life - certainly including that fight - was a large, large, "work of art". That fight influenced 100's of millions of folks (billions?), in some way reverberating even today in some circles.
But hey, I was a giant Ali supporter, too - so not knowing that the Marley & Wailers performance was 'in concert with' THE fight would have been literally inconceivable. So the additional knowledge we have now that he was your "hero" makes that lack of awareness even more stunning. And believe it or not...............that's not a knock on you - just a recognition of that incongruity.
But/And as a corollary...............I'm a Dali fan, too (how could one not be, really). So good on you for that. And further props to you for your overall artistic sensibilities. They're well-documented and on target.
That's funny firenze. I didn't even look at it because ⬇️
I couldn't care less.

I counted the Dalis in my dining room. And there isn't a lot of wall being open air and glass door. There are 8 and I have more. I've seen most or all of them in person. I let the crowd go ahead with the guide so I can be alone with them. Some are quite huge.
At the Dali museum they let me go ahead of the crowd, which is even better!
I painted my living room brown recently, over white birch paneling I got tired of after 26 years. Currently there is nothing on the walls. I like it a lot.

I certainly wasn't attacking anyone. And really, neither were you. And there was zero rowdiness. Explanation????
So this is the way the "shiny, new moderator" is gonna hold court. OK - but explanations and guidance would sure be appreciated. That was always the problem earlier - nobody knew what/where exactly the line was, other than Denny's vague (but overall, adequate - most of the time) stricture. There was never any feedback or published guidance when something was deemed over the line. We would hope that there would be more clarity now, but apparently not?
It's all too ridiculous isn't it

I loved being able to paint the Pink Panther for the Owens Corning co.

Here's a fave Pink Panther with a cameo from it's composer, Henry Mancini

I also did Snoopy for Met Life
The back of this postcard says
Dali during the construction of his Teatro-Museo in Figueras, Spain 1971
I also have his awesome and amazing magic cube
Some folks are just nasty.
I like this one by Yuzu Kato because I once had a calico cat and a black cat that were a couple.
